Welcome to Desiignbyfood. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking and purchase of private chef, catering, culinary, and related services provided by Desiignbyfood.

By using our website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a proposal, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Desiignbyfood provides private chef, catering, event dining, culinary, and related hospitality services. Services, menus, staffing, pricing, and availability may vary depending on the event and client requirements.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee availability or constitute a confirmed booking.

Quotes and proposals are based on information provided by the client, including event date, location, guest count, menu, service style, staffing, and other requirements.

Pricing may change if the scope of the event changes.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, a proposal does not reserve an event date until all required booking conditions have been completed.

A reservation is considered confirmed only after Desiignbyfood has received any required signed agreement and deposit or retainer.

Payment schedules, deposits, retainers, and final balances will be stated in the client’s proposal, invoice, or service agreement.

Failure to make required payments by their due dates may result in suspension or cancellation of services.

Clients are responsible for providing an accurate final guest count by the deadline specified in their agreement.

Requests to increase guest counts, modify menus, change locations, extend service times, or add services are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Reductions in guest count after purchasing, staffing, preparation, or other commitments have been made may not result in a reduction of the final price.

Clients are responsible for informing Desiignbyfood of known food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special dietary requirements before the event.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed dietary requirements. However, kitchens, suppliers, preparation areas, and event environments may contain or come into contact with common allergens.

We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate event information and ensuring that the event location provides reasonable and safe access for our team.

Depending on the service, appropriate kitchen facilities, utilities, parking, loading access, refrigeration, preparation areas, or other accommodations may be required.

Additional charges may apply when unexpected site conditions substantially increase labor, transportation, equipment, or service requirements.

Any service charge, administrative charge, staffing charge, delivery charge, travel charge, or other applicable fee will be disclosed in the client’s proposal, invoice, or agreement.

A service or administrative charge should not be assumed to represent a gratuity unless specifically identified as such.

Gratuities for service staff may be voluntary unless otherwise stated in the applicable agreement.

Events outside our standard service area may be subject to travel fees.

Parking, tolls, lodging, airfare, equipment rental, specialty ingredients, permits, venue charges, or other event-specific expenses may be charged when applicable and disclosed to the client.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by the applicable service agreement, proposal, invoice, and Desiignbyfood Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Deposits or retainers may be non-refundable where stated in the applicable booking agreement.

Desiignbyfood will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing services caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, utility failures, transportation interruptions, public emergencies, venue closures, or other extraordinary circumstances.

When reasonably possible, we will work with the client to determine an appropriate solution.

Website content, including text, photographs, graphics, branding, menus, designs, logos, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Desiignbyfood unless otherwise indicated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, or commercially exploited without appropriate authorization.

Photography or video captured by Desiignbyfood at an event will only be used for marketing, portfolio, website, or social media purposes in accordance with applicable permissions and agreements.

Clients should notify us before the event if photography or video is restricted.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Desiignbyfood will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Our website or business operations may use third-party platforms for payments, scheduling, contracts, communications, analytics, or other services.

Those third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Desiignbyfood may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Updated terms will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
